I was thinking the same thing. And the Right are the ones insisting that we need all these voting restrictions to combat an apparent flood of perfectly executed voter fraud perpetrated by the left, but the only people who got caught trying to commit voter fraud in the last election were Trump supporters...

And the right wing constantly accuse the left of using payed protesters. Project much?

McNelly, the DeVos aide, went on, “In fact, she has received more letters of support to the Senate HELP committee than all U.S. Secretaries of Education combined.”

Cardinals are the #6 scoring offense in the league & they held them to 19. Cards then scored 34 IN Seattle.

“Atlanta struggles a lot against pass-catching RBs”

I’m not sure what I’m not making clear. Even when the Seahawks had their best defensive player, the Falcons still moved the ball well against them and would’ve scored more than 25 points if not for Sherman getting away with pass interference.

But that’s the thing; even when the Seahawks had Earl Thomas, the Falcons still moved the ball well against their defense and probably would’ve won if not for Sherman getting away with pass interference on Julio.

Martellus Bennett had 5 catches for 32 yards. Hardly what I’d call “getting eaten alive”.

This is really misleading. The Falcons moved the ball well against both Seattle and Denver. They were held to 24 points against Seattle because Richard Sherman got away with blatant pass interference against Julio Jones, which would’ve put the Falcons in field goal range. They were held to 23 points against Denver

LOL, he never will. And he’ll never give the slightest bit of transparency that allows us to (correctly) observe that he is massively corrupt. Soon enough he won’t even give a shit if he is impeached, because he’ll have done enough to make himself tons of extra $$$ anyway. And then we’ll get senior American Taliban

He never will, he’s made that clear. He’ll never even make the disclosures so that we know when he’s benefiting.

Every transacrion at gamestop:

They could pay the same wage, as said before there is no shortage of young workers interested in games and not everyone will turn down a job (I know because I was there when I worked at a local GS competitor). The pay is crap, the hours/shifts are random, the responsibilities are plenty, and in reality the management

Did you read the original article, though? Because that spells out exactly why this particular metric was problematic.

That’s such a good image to showcase how videogame pricing was back then and how relatively consistent it has been lately despite inflation and higher production costs.

Exactly. That memo was just Tony Bartel blaming the GameStop employees, while completely ignoring the fact that it is corporates ludicrous COL program (and the threat of job loss that ensues non-compliance of said program) that are the cause of these actions...

There is no “rethinking” the used games business model for GameStop any more than there is “rethinking” eating and breathing for you. Without used games and preorders they die. Period. Now, whether or not Gamestops death would be a good thing is certainly a valid discussion to have.

Their practice of gutting new copies of the games is one of the major reasons I stopped shopping with GameStop. It’s such a foolish practice. Maybe I could of seen it in the days color copiers were wickedly expensive, but that hasn’t been the case for many years now. They already put out dummy copies for pre-orders,

Yeah, of course the COO says this. But then he (or whoever oversees specific districts, etc.) yells at the manager/general manager of the store for not hitting specific sales goals (“while still maintaining Gamestop’s integrity and enthusiasm towards gamers,” of course), and the manager yells at the associate.

Only statement further from the truth is “Gamestop cares about its employees.”
