The Warriors are such hypocrites. Showboating millennial takes off work early two days in a row, and no one bats an eye.

Leland Melvin is a star in every sense of the word. The retired astronaut, NFL draftee, and literal dog whisperer…
Did you stop watching the news before November of 2013 or something?
Ah! I haven’t seen the episode in over 20 years so I wasn’t quite sure. It was the one with the guy that inspected all of Little Pete’s underwear, though, right?
I think that the GOP has been in “scorched earth” mode since 2008. The Democrats are way behind in that sense and, at this point, lack the numbers to effectively do much at all. 2016 was a MESS.
Class is still the big invisible barrier. Everyone lower class who tries to rise “above their station” knows it, everyone upper and middle class pretends it doesn’t exist (and often finds some other “ism” where they are in fact the ones being oppressed by their gardener/maid/mechanic)
Give Trump a break. It’s hard to hold large slices of pizza with such tiny hands.
I’ll eat pizza with a knife and fork when I don’t want to get my fingers greasy. It’s not a big deal.
Like sometimes the only difference is he’s taller and broader shouldered. Which, no. Dude’s at least forties, come on.
You try handling one of those big pizza slices with little baby hands!
My dad grew up dirt-ass poor, and left home at 14. He reached solid and stable middle class, and still had some fairly stolid ideas about class presentation. We eventually got him to wear blue jeans... but or years he ironed them.
He didn’t want to come off low-class, you see.
“From a realpolitik perspective, you could argue that some of the justices like RBG and others should have recognized this evolution in the status quo in Congress years ago and retired accordingly, allowing Barack Obama to strengthen the liberal wing of the court at a time when the power to do so existed, when…
Reminds me of the episode of Pete & Pete where this guy (Inspector 23?) always ate everything with a knife and fork but then they gave him chicken wings which he could not properly eat with said utensils. He had to use his hands. This opened up whole new worlds to him.
Not trying to be hostile (mainly feeling lost and throwing up my hands), but arguing that “this is just the way it is” is kind of condoning a certain kind of behavior that’s toxic.
Not sure about the rest of the “super-rich,” but with Trump I suspect the issue is that his hands aren’t actually large enough to, you know, hold things in them.
For crying out loud the Joker regurally poisons people with Joker Venom. Hell no would I want my food in any way “Jokerized”!
Am I the only one (besides Bruce) who is actually kind of creeped out by a Batburger where you can “Jokerize” your fries? Isn’t that the DCU equivalent of us having a Patriot Burger (or something similar) and being able to “ISISize” your fries?
Out of all the reasons it was stupid and short sighted for liberals/democrats to vote 3rd party or not vote at all in protest of Hillary, the Supreme Court is the biggest and most damaging.
I mean, for games only, sure. But since you get Prime Video and all its content, Prime Music, free shipping on everything, Kindle bonuses, and now Twitch shit, it’s hardly a bad investment. I mean, I’ve been a Prime member since it was ONLY shipping. With all the perks now, it’s one of the best “membership” options…
I’ve only ever bought new from Gamestop because I wanted the developers to get a cut of the profits. With this, there’s now no reason not to just order things online.
