I wanted to see the motor. :( To the Google!

I live in Greensboro, and pass the airport often. LOVE seeing these guys scooting around.

Now playing

Citroen 2CV turbo boat racing has to be up there...

15-year old me reinstalling the motor I’d just rebuilt in my first car in the early ‘90s.

I’m ashamed to admit knowing this, but that’s how Ford handled adding extra space to the EXP. Since it was on the Escort platform, the rear floor pan was designed for a seat, but the EXP had no rear seat, so there was a big plastic filler in there to make the rear floor level. Yay. Worst car I’ve ever owned.

My daily driver is a ‘78 J10 with the straight six. I’ve got a later head on it, and the MC2100 carb as well. I LOVE this truck. My budget meant I was getting an S10 or a Ranger, so I bought an old farm truck instead. You’ll love this thing!

My ES does at least have a small cubby aft of the shifter. Yeah, that’s about it.

For local stores, it breaks down like this: AutoZone, because it’s closest. Then O’Reilly, since I know the staff there - they seem to last longer than at AZ. Then, NAPA, as the nearest one is also an RDC, so I KNOW I can get the part there. Otherwise, it’s the internet!

“Running when pulled.”

I saw a woman rubbing a small cloth over a Cobra at our local Cars & Coffee. Couldn’t understand it until I realized she was blind; that’s how she looked at the cars. The cloth was a thoughtful touch.

Be 10. Live in country. Have bored mother with a manual Datsun B210 wagon and a phonebook. Let laughter ensue.

I’d just finished the timing belt in our old ‘83 Mazda 626, and was pulling the crank pulley back on. The book said 7 inch lbs. for the pulley bolts. I thought it MUST be a typo, and tightened them to 7 ft. lbs. Nope. Not a typo. Going down the road and there’s a big *bang* as the pulley separates from the crank, and

Now, if he’d been black with a pellet gun...

More. The answer you’re looking for is more.

OOOOHlalalalalala! Could listen to those Canal+ guys all day.

Right?!

A gullwing Benz? Sorry... sorry. I’ll see myself out.

Subaru SVX. Arguably a stunner, at the very least a unique design. Sleek, solidly built, a great interior. Handled well, and had AWD. Horribly let down by a wretched transmission with an absurdly high failure rate, and don’t even try changing the spark plugs without planning well ahead...

Dude. Dude! Dude? Dude.
