You just reminded me I really have to read that book, since it’s been on my Kindle for like two years.

You guessed it: Frank Stallone
Well when your second garage is full of cases of sparkling water and you don’t have room for the third Bentley what would you do, smart guy?
Can we at least agree that for any perceived problems with the sequels, the human being known as Daisy Ridley isn’t one of them.
Rey coming from Palpatine doesn’t contradict the message of The Last Jedi. “Coming from anywhere” includes “coming from the worst person in the galaxy.”
It is just such a crazy world!
Actually I’d be really surprised if deepfake porn of Taylor Swift hasn’t existed for years too.
If the people distributing the pictures admit they’re fake, there’s not much ground to stand on in terms of the U.S.’s version of libel. Defamation is tricky regardless. You’re supposed to have to show some kind of injury to reputation, though one gets the sense that the requirement isn’t really honored all that…
I would assume so, but I’m not a lawyer in Australia, let alone the US and Asia where I think most of this is happening.
So Kelly talks shit, and Moriarty’s the one who has to leave, because Kelly is basically a real life Stormfront (in that Kelly doesn’t have “fans” so much as she has “an army”) that will make social media unbearable for Moriarty.
found the triggered snowflake lolol
You know, the last batch of Tide Pods I bought just don’t taste the same. They’ve changed the recipe!
You can absolutely charge to 100% for the occasional trip. This article is talking about for your normal daily driving. For most people that’s 30-50 miles.
I had my Bolt set to 80% max charge before the battery recall, and continue that practice unless I have a longer trip scheduled. And top her off when she’s down to about 120 miles of range during the week. I’ve only force fed it electrons at fast-chargers once or twice a year. Having an ICE car for away-from-home…
Yup, these are the 3 basic rules. The only thing to add is every now and then (maybe monthly or every other month), drain the battery low (<5%) and charge to 100% (then drive, don’t let it sit long at full charge). This gives the battery management a chance to calibrate a full charge and better calculate your range.
This advice is only appropriate for NMC battery chemistries. Vehicles based on LFP are in fact better served by charging to 100% every day. The downside to LFP (right now) is that they are not as energy dense as NMC & thus have less range. Since I have both an NMC Ioniq 5 and a LFP Model 3 I have to play both games.
I mean, yes. Just saying you’re going to get better results treating the battery well over always going to 100%
Keep it between 30 and 80 day-to-day, but load it up to 100% before you head out on a longer trip. These aren’t always/never rules, just what you should generally do regularly.
Realistically you really should better luck than with any other rechargeable battery because you have active cooling on most EVs which you don’t have on almost any other rechargeable battery.
So basically, treat it like any other rechargeable battery and you should be golden.
