Not a chance. Game of Thrones is HBO’s flagship franchise - they still probably get to set their own budget to some extent, and I doubt this will be the only spin-off series.

Thankfully too, as season 2 was great. How Zaslav saw a critical hit which had pretty good ratings as a ‘let’s shelve’ is so questionable but given it was very much a show about the female gaze, I shouldn’t be surprised.

might not be sony’s decision, but it was sony’s junk contract that is allowing this. When HBO? wrote off Final Space, they removed the ability to buy it, but I can still stream the episodes I already purchased, not sure why it would be any different here, other than sony’s lawyers being bad at their job...

When did they refund stuff? I paid for the it's always sunny in Philadelphia season 8 and someone removed the episode " Charlie rules the world" from microsoft... it still is listed in my library but I can't watch it, and if you go to buy season 8 now it's not included and I never got a refund for it. 

But when I burn up MY trash the cops show up and say “you can’t do that in the city limits!”

Acasually this is discovery more then Sony as they own the shows and told Sony no more whether is was a $$$ negotiation not following thru but discovery is the main culprit here but the fact thay Sony is wiping it from the service paid for or not is the only thing they are really doing wrong since every other time…
