What’s up with all the Gyllenhaal hate?  I’m sure we could find everything to hate about the 1989 RoadHouse film too.

The AVClub mentioned it, thus I heard about it for the first time.

This is a show that I wouldn’t have had on my radar at all, were it not for the reviews here.

It seems as though with a century+ of experience, that manufacturers could make engines, transmissions, chassis builds and other parts of vehicles that had a 100 year reliability rating, without them costing much.

She’s an attractive young women that seems to have her head on straight and in the game.

I can see that happening just out of caution. The change happened, they don’t know how well it will work, so... caution.

I knew about Sandler’s role going to Roth, but not the Fassbender/Pegg one. I can barely imagine that character as anyone but Fassbender.

I did wonder what the thinking behind “Duncan Idaho” was for a human space empire 30,000 years in the future.

I seem to remember that the role was written with Eddie Murphy in mind, but Murphy wasn’t available for it. Instead, Ernie Hudson made the role legendary in his own way, really landing it for his own personality rather than Murphy’s more ‘in your face’ comedy style.
