Agreed, street racing still goes on despite the existence of drag strips. It’s expensive to drag race legally and the thrill of illegal activities is missing.

My calendar must be off.  This annual Jalopnik rant is late.

I voted Crack Pipe since Hell No wasn’t an option. The seller could have shortened the ad with this simple edit:

Yes I did.  The rest of the post is still factual.

I have very strong memories of the Great Recession, but I was just a kid in 1991. Were you a car buyer then? How do you remember those days of war and recession?

Don’t forget the sudoku and kenken.

Agreed.  The Honda Civic 4WD Wagon also belongs on that list.  I think it was first available in the late 80's.

Comparing anything to the Cybertruck is a very low bar to jump over.  The front of these were hideous.  It took work for GM to screw up a design that much.

I’m going reluctant crack pipe with this. The images have been altered to a ridiculous level for an ad. I wish they had resolved the door sag on the driver’s side while working on the car and wonder if the two body colors on the driver’s side (look at the lower half of the door and the front fender) are an image

It used to be Tracy and Torch writing the absurd. Now McParland seems to be an island of reality for this column.

I suggest a Honda Ridgeline Sport.  It has reasonable mileage, 4WD, 280 horses, will support outdoor hobbies, and can carry the kiddies when that time arrives.  It’s not the best mileage.  It won’t match an Outback, but will be your previous V6 Mustang.

This is a great idea!

I would.  I can live with the paint, but the wheels are too much for me.  It’s above market price so the owner is expecting to be paid for his add-ons.  His add-on wheels would be my take offs.  Why pay above market for those wheels unless you want them.

I enjoy seeing rarer cars at shows. There was a Pao at one of our larger local events last May.

Often winter car buying is driven by weather conditions. Strong February sales were probably driven as much by mild weather conditions as anything.

I think the best this could do would be cannibalize the Ridgeline market and push a few of those customers up. Honda sold roughly 33,000 units last year so there’s not a lot of volume for this especially since the Ridgeline offers some versatility as a truck while this seems to be a styling exercise. I don’t expect it

I wish I could give this response more than 1 star.  Well said.

The convertible version of 300ZX was wretched. It destroyed the looks of a beautiful car. Besides the bad lines, the top up never looked even slightly normal.

Isn’t it sad to think we could probably add flashing lights to pedestrian crossing signs with a simple solar cell?

its jalopnik writers, if they cant hoon their car the car provided to them free for review it sucks and deserves to be thrown in the trash - fixed it a bit...
