My chief complaint in that review was that I was driving a “Sport” model that featured no more power over the standard car. It could barely get up to highway speeds on the on-ramp. It was not an issue of wanting to act a fool in a powerful car on the road, it was an issue of just being able to feel like I could drive

Tax credits also helped a lot of Tesla customers develop their “want”.

Beautiful area and an amazing state park

That interior is just depressing.  Find a Leaf instead.  CP

That was my thought too. It might sell better than the Gladiator. They could call it the Jeep-6.

I’ve never seen images of those.  Thanks for sharing.

This would need to be perfect and find the right nostalgia buyer to get $4K. With the windshield damage, the rusty rear quarter, and the old a/c it would be worth about half this to the right buyer.

For just $9500 you can get the plus model with a 63 mile range and it still includes the janky looking screen.  I agree with the off-brand toy comment.

This is a unicorn. For the right buyer, this is pocket change. People have fond memories of old, disposable cars for any number of reasons (first car, first date, same car a relative owned...). Logic plays no roll here.  Original sales price is meaningless.

I wonder where it spent most of its life.  Even with 31K on the odo, Pittsburgh weather would have taken some toll.  These were awful cars.  A classmate had one in college.  It was constantly creating ways to break.

I think he meant sales.  GM hasn’t exactly extended themselves to make these cars a success.

GM continues to struggle to get decisions right. I think the decision to name an electric truck Hummer is another wrong step. By the time the electric one is released, fifteen years will have passed since the gas-powered Hummer peaked in sales (2006). I don’t see the gas Hummer market being a target market for an

The average IQ of our world just ticked up slightly with his departure.

If I got it for $1K and put in $5K to bring it back, it might be worth $6K and an interesting car. Now it’s just a beaten old Corrolla with a CP attached. As others have said $6K cash will buy older, more interesting cars in better shape.

I’m guessing they understood just how low the ultimate sales volume would be and cut a few corners to make the truck a reality. It’s a boutique vehicle. Almost no one with a need for a real truck would put up the money to buy this.

The wagons have my vote.  Wagons were made for hauling stuff and campaign literature is stuff.  They are clean and will be memorable.

My first visit to New Zealand was amazing. Spotting Holden’s on their local turf was part of the fun. They were an unseen (for me) part of the automotive world being viewed up close. It’s been decades since I would even think of putting a GM product in the garage, but the forbidden fruit Holden models enchanted me.

I’m giving her a 7.2.  She stuck the take-off with perfect form, but blew the landing.

The car may be red, but this is no sweet valentine.  CP

I’ve yet to see a six cylinder model in the wild.  I don’t see this significantly raising the number of buyers at the price point.  I’m guessing $35-40K.  It will weigh 400 pounds more than the 86 and deliver an extra 40-50 hP for an additional $7K or more.
