@Howie: That 'M8' appears to have a refrigerator in the passenger seat. Wonder if that was 'American Stig's beer cooler?

@isidor3: What year is your 600SEL? I've been curious about Mercedes of a certain age and was *this* close to purchasing a 2002 S-Class recently. Ultimately decided to stick with my 72 250c and deal with the issues of a youngtimer instead of the myriad computers and sensors. Both are headaches so I doubt I've

THIS guy, the one driving the PT Cruiser loaded with chrome and neon

Wow, you know it's bad when your insurance company would total it for the equivalent of a bag of Doritos. Somehow I find this perversely amusing. Notice how much the value increased on these disposable cars once gasoline got up to $4.00 per gallon? These and those awful little Geo Metro's suddenly become 'cool'

Awesome! I remember this old commercial but forgot it was for a Justy. As much as I like to make fun of them, (other than styling) these little cars were over achievers. Built to last but never to be pretty.

I bet that thing handled like it was on rails with the upgraded wheels. Man, going from the Crusty to an SVX...now THAT is quite the antithesis! I've always carried a torch for the SVX but only if I could get one that had the manual transmission swap. Those are seriously cool cars.

@Pixelmonkey, they put a smile on your face the same way a Pug does; so ugly it's cute and always has a great 'plucky' little personality.

This one looks pretty damn sporting!

That thing could well go all the way to the Apocalypse with only 50k on the odometer.

Man, that thing looks like a real survivor. Not bad for a 25 year old disposable car. Subaru really knew what they were doing

LOL! I think it is the late-80's econo-box inspired by the AMC Gremlin; unloved and unwanted but too damn tough to ever (EVER) go away!

Where can I get me one of these snow track Subaru's? Respect!

That thing deserves to be decked out in 'General Lee' regalia. This thread makes me want to go find an old Crusty just for the perverse pleasure of owning such an iconic old piece of crap

@CRXDerek: Are those BBS Style 5 wheels? That's one fly azz whip!
