Grab yourself one of these bad boys and drive over 20,000 miles on a single tank

just entirely smoke and mirrors.”

Glad someone recognizes that Elon didn’t “make” $36 billion yesterday, like some of your sister sites claim.

1st Gear: Tesla being valued so highly might be one of the best examples of why the stock market is just entirely smoke and mirrors.

For context to everyone unaware, this commenter wrote the book on four-wheel drive (basically):

“This allows for relatively long axle shafts, which means the axles’ constant-velocity joints won’t be at too steep of an angle when the suspension is at full droop.”

Having to apologize and getting nothing in return usually means you were in the wrong.

could care less how big of a dick dude was. Ford issued orders DO NOT MARK UP RESERVATIONS and what do they do?

They broke the rules. So FUCK EM. Dealer got off too easy. Fuckin cheaters.

I tried to order an in demand Wrangler late last year. The local dealer gave a verbal agreement over the phone of “sticker price plus fees”. I asked about the fees on the phone and they seemed normal. I made an appointment to custom order the car. I went into the dealer knowing exactly what I wanted. When we got to

He did have it in writing. The problem was the dealership employee screwed him over by omitting the fact that what they both signed was simply an acknowledgement of the reservation, rather than a contract that forbid alteration of the final sales price.

All of this is a prime example of both how and why the dealer model needs to die and how Ford screwed up the Bronco’s rollout with its reservation system. Ford should have done a better job of explaining to customers how reservations work.

Asked my sales guy yesterday about this. Said they sell at MSRP and usually don’t get anything in writing, but could get something in writing if I wanted.

It would’ve work if they followed the Japanese Toyota way and everyone have to get experience in the factory.

I’m not automatically on the side of unions.  I have seen unions say that better cars are made with union labor.  But I don’t see it in the quality surveys.

It takes truly insane management brain to think you can just take person with a desk job and put them on an actual production floor and not have it be a monumental disaster.

You guys covered this when it came out. It was also determined at that time that the margin of error on it was so large as to be completely useless.

Good stuff david, I’m glad we are measuring DLO’s in cubits now (about damn time!)

Sucks for GM to be so short sighted.

Toyota Is Leading GM In US Sales For The First Time

Damn, the Dealer markup on the Telluride must be so high, people are trading in Lambos for one.
