Apparently they just hired a bunch of BuzzFeed leftovers who only know how to think in lists, like children. What’s worse, PIT holds this auction every year and it’s so un-newsworthy Jalopnik never bothered reporting on it in the past.

Yeah, this. :(

Deaths, illness or jail.

Thinking about the circumstances that led to these abandoned cars is quite sad. Could be the owners traveled alone and died at their destination with no next of kin to be found.

Didn’t mean to hit them and run them over, definitely meant to harm them physically and emotionally. Also definitely meant to do it with an illegally modified vehicle. Hopefully it’s a stern lesson.

When you take a close look, the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) is really quite remarkable. Most people know Toyota Hybrids as being very fuel efficient because of the battery under the rear seat. The impressively elegant planetary power split device often gets overlooked, despite the concept being used by several

Yeah. After his last few reviews I expected questionable takes (this one is mild compared to some, but it’s a ground-up hybrid and excels at it, don’t know what else you’d want), but I expected better photography out of the guy that have us his last name as a verb with a photo so iconic I have it on a Blip shirt.

Lol I’m 6'4". I could literally never fit properly. Same with the GT86 (and surprisingly the AMG GT)

Rolling coal when a person is in the vicinity and when the individual rolling coal intentionally or knowingly causes that excess exhaust to contact that bystander is AT A MINIMUM an assault. They are causing their vehicle to “spit” on a living, breathing, human being that is worthy of dignity and not having his or her

This may be one of those rare vehicles that’s voted down because it’s too inexpensive. Who knows what could go wrong on a Bentley this cheap, and who knows how much those repairs might cost?

Where do you live that you can get anything in the world brought to you in the middle of the night through a huge traffic jam in less than 45 minutes?

Assuming they have standard foot operated speed and braking controls, which I dunno, but it looks like: Went to hit the brake, hit the accelerator instead, realized they weren’t breaking, so mashed the pedal harder before working out what they did wrong.

I love cars and have since I was little. But that said, there has never been a car or truck that I was so horny for that I would compromise principles and finances for it. At the end of the day, it’s still just a car.

Agree on the ride vs payload for the typical BoF truck. I’ll bet dollars to donuts that the Tundra will ride and handle much better than a Ranger of the same payload capacity. I went with a unibody truck in order to get decent ride and payload capacity together, in a package that would fit my garage.

The European Ranger Raptor has a payload of... 1400 lbs.

Offroad trims take a penalty from other configurations on the vehicle. We also have different (higher) standards, drive more miles and have overall higher speed limits. I’ve seen a Lada packed with a tonne of mandarins, just because it’s possible doesn’t mean you should do it on American highways.

Those are some nice facts. But I’m worried they’ll get in the way of us getting more Tundra articles. We only have 5 today. If we can’t post frivolous comparisons that are incorrect, how will we shit on the Tundra?

the ranger’s “max payload” is only 1900 LBS if you have the extended cab (not double cab) and 2wd. if you have the double cab and 4x4 the ranger drops down to 1,600 pounds.

What a weird take. I mean, 1455 ish lbs is a really good number for an off-road trim. It’s more than a Raptor, it’s more than a TRX, it’s not that far off from a power wagon (non-tradesman)
