I always check how tall the person behind me is before doing it.

I used to do this and log it all in an excel document.

Gonna be honest. If I were 5 again and my parents got a car (or SUV/CUV) with red seats and sport mode, I’d be pretty amped up.

I mean, a high mounted light bar actually has its uses off road. It’s just mostly useless on the road, which is where almost all of those trucks live their lives.

These lap times are largely irrelevant as they absolutely do not correlate to driving enjoyment or real-world usable performance, but it’s a slightly abstract way to compare the relative abilities of sports cars.”

With a rear overhang longer than most cars too.

Where do I put my drink?  I can’t daily drive this unless it has cupholders.

The further issue is that it doesn’t make up for its performance disparity to lower priced cars like the faster Mustangs and Camaros with luxury or heritage. At least the BMW version has the badge and luxury.

The biggest hangers-on to the idea that EVs are weak little appliances are the truck crowd. Once you stomp on them in a drag race while towing a trailer in a vehicle aesthetically similar to theirs, they’ll finally start to come around.

There is a very good reason why this will be the most important EV since, probably, the Model S.

I saw a video of one of these basically disintegrating in a crash on the Nurburgring once. It was the most impressively fast dismantling of a vehicle I’ve ever seen.

Well, when you don’t care about gaps and general fit and finish you can just decide you don’t need that last round of die and mold tuning.

It’s a double edged sword, because everything they do to move themselves forward pisses the hell out of their core old loyal fanbase.

To add to your point and give some perspective, cars are basically feature complete 2-3 years before they start production. It’s those 2-3 years of development, prototyping, and testing that make them ready for the customer.

I’m investing in extension cords.

I’m imagining that this will be similar to the H1 in the way the current Blazer is similar to the K5 blazer.

Is ARB the company they’ve been making fridges for?  I’d be interested in seeing how the two compare to each other.

Wow. Insane level crack pipe.

I feel like they really only look good in Rubicon trim. A lot of the display table auto show ones had a 2" lift and 35" tires. Once the big tires and other off road stuff comes off, the look goes from rugged to ugly.

I always lock mine, and stress to my wife that hers need to be locked as well, because they both have HomeLink and can open the door to the garage if left unlocked (we have 4 vehicles so our dailys stay in the driveway).  The door from garage to house is still locked at night, but that leaves a lot of tools, toys, etc
