GOOD.

I really think it’s players like Burfict (and a few others) that the league needs to set up strike policies for. 3 incidents like this should cause a more severe punishment. He’s not going to learn if it’s just a fine and a couple weeks out.

Could have been a rubbing issue. I guess they really needed that extra half 12.7mm in the rear.

The average new car price isn’t the average car purchase price. There is a used market for a reason. There are plenty of reliable, efficient used vehicles out there that can be bought for a few grand. I own one. I’ll reiterate my point. Cars aren’t too expensive. People just want cars they can’t afford.

Well, there’s always the Pacifica plug in hybrid. 30+ miles of EV range. Using it for daily commuting, you’d probably barely use gas at all. If you have a 3rd kid, you’ll be thankful for the minivan, too.

I never got a letter jacket because I didn’t want to spend the money on something I didn’t think I could wear after high school. I remember going to college and seeing a handful of freshman guys wearing them during orientation, then never again.

I have to ask- Have you ever worked a day on an automotive assembly line? If so, what task?

Trucks built for different purposes and using different rating systems.

Oh yeah my 2003 F150 is like this. No spare tire. There is space to install one, just no cross bar or bracket to install it to. Previous owner must have been very forward thinking letting rust do its job like that.

I don’t know why I said Ram doesn’t have a B pillar yesterday. They have for years.

I read the study, because as a 2A supporter I try to stay as educated as possible on the matter and a co-worker asked me about it. There are flaws and points of contention, but their argument is causation, not correlation.

I like this explanation better.

Back when I had it, I had my near-stock 2014 Tacoma run on a dyno. At the time, it had about 15k miles on it, so I figured the numbers should be a great representation of actual wheel hp for the vehicle. The only things not base was a catback exhaust and aftermarket wheels and tires (same size as stock). It put down

I think the reasoning for Ford and the mid-size extended cabs is packaging. The door would be far too small the way the cab is designed. For the Tacoma, the main part of the cab is from 2005, so that could be part of it. For Ram, same thing, they’re using an older cab structure. Who knows, though. It really does make

The truth is that these actual intentional copies often look very close to their target vehicle from a couple angles and awkwardly different from others.

You mean the pillars that truck makers are starting to put back in because they make a significant difference in crash safety?

I know that a lot of these Chinese cars are intentionally rip-offs, but let’s be honest here. They don’t look much more similar to their targets than many other SUVs/CUVs do to each other today.

4.5 mpg is completely reasonable. Top Gear Season 11 ran a comparison test of how far supercars could go on a single gallon of fuel on the track. I believe the Ferrari 599 managed less than 2 mpg.

I’m thinking that since many of these parts, especially structural components, can’t be repaired/replaced, they will probably have to buy back some cars, give compensation to older vehicle owners, and then revise the crash/impact ratings for the affected models.

“But on Friday, the company’s CEO, Hiroya Kawasaki, revealed the scandal has impacted about 500 companies—doubling the initial count—and now includes steel products, too.”
