I never thought to use mayo for grilled cheese until I read about it here. Now I do it because it tastes great and is MUCH easier than spreading butter. Butter is also just fine, but it’s not significantly better than mayo. Different? Yes. Better? No.

Ooh, PB&J. I need to try that.

I was thinking that would be too much PB?

Skrewball is meant to be combined with Godiva liqueur to make Reese’s cordials/shooters!

I feel like an ounce or two of Kahlua wouldn’t hurt this one bit...

Milk comes from mammaries. Not nuts. Not soy.

I thought they made it illegal to label it as almond milk now?  They should.  It’s almond juice.

I have a cheap OXO mandoline and I usually use the guard because it’s so easy to do. I do often start without it with large taters and cukes because they’re just so unwieldy to begin with. But once they’re half gone, the guard goes on. I’ve seen the horror stories, I don’t need my own.

Maybe a set of gloves wouldn’t be

How do you make waffle fries?

Honestly, I don’t care how good you are with a knife, or how slow you go, you’ll never be able to make consistently thin slices like a mandolin does. I love mine and have never been bitten by it (but I probably just jinxed myself).

I just can’t imagine transferring data via WiFi. I sometimes get anxious waiting for data to transfer over my 10 GbE cabled connection and can’t wait to upgrade to a 100 gigabit network.

WiFi is not, and probably will never be, as fast as a cabled connection.  You’ll definitely want to keep the cable for a NAS, too.  I’m not sure if you realize how much slower WiFi is compared to a gigabit (or 10 gig!) ethernet connection.

Wait, you mean not everyone wants to spend 10 minutes watching a video instead of a minute and a half to read the same amount of text?

So we heard about tigers getting this SARS-CoV-2 virus a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday we heard that a couple of housecats (the first confirmed case in pets) have COVID-19. There’s a theory that this virus mutated from some other animal, possibly in a “wet” market with a LOT of cross-contamination of all sorts.

Most airports I’ve been to REQUIRE that you put your shoes in the bins.

Like your PB & pickles, I suspect this will challenge those not daring enough to try new things.

My understanding is that the respirator filter won’t degrade at all, but the expiration dates are for the elastic straps.

And, like COVID graphs, it’s already way worse than when that animation was made.

The hit to our economy is no joke. This may become known as “The Greater Depression.”

Honestly, I try not to judge what other people do with their money. If they want to buy a new TV, who am I to begrudge them? Hookers and blow? Maybe that’s exactly what they need in life.  Perspective is everything.

I worry about me and can only offer my own perspective on life.

I live in a small town just outside Dallas, TX.

About half of the restaurants in town have closed now. And about half of those that closed have said that they won’t reopen. Most of these restaurants pivoted with the shelter in place orders and turned their wait staff into delivery staff. The hit to their number of

Nothing wrong with being selfish at times!

I said nothing about stimulating other people.  But that sounds like it could be fun!
