Serious contender for best theme music ever.

The thing that always stood out to me, and that I love the most about Bebop was the overall sense of melancholic decay in the world building. I love that it takes place in a universe in which human civilization is winding down. Reminds me of the “gentle apocalypse” of YKK, and it’s a style I’ve loved ever since

An iconic series that will be hard to replicate. One of the best things was the music so I hope they get to use the original stuff or even have Yoko Kanno write some new material.

Poppins magic is old magic.  Hellboy would be wise not to underestimate Poppins.

Yes but Mignola’s art helped leaven the grimness with its tremendous stylisation. It’s gothic, not grindhouse.
