@StarShooter: Honestly, the way monitors are set up these days (with the tiny, unlabeled buttons), I run into more people who don't even know you can turn them off. If you walk through my office building when it's dark, you'll likely see tons of little orange/red specks of light.

I think I saw my last 3D experience in theaters last night for Tron, and that was only because my brother had never seen a 3D movie before and he paid for my ticket.

@tw@t: Yeah, but the iPT is really just a substitute itself for me. I want a small tablet, and I don't want to pay smart phone prices OR get a data contract, so iPT seems like the only reasonable substitute in most cases. Now I'll just hold out for a small-sized, non-silly tablet... and a raise.

@blackcat13: Well, the rubber part is, yes. The uppers are usually thick leather or synthetic that are either fairly impermeable or treated to become so, iirc.

@sub150: They tried confiscating my nail polish once. And I've lost a nail file as well due to their diligence (it was metal and pointy but far from sharp).
