@skraelingshortbus: In light of the government's push over the last decade (plus) to turn this alleged democracy into a pluto-corporatocracy, I can't say I'm disappointed in their (continued) incompetency when it comes to basic functionality.

@Spoony Bard: Such a fantastic point. And we also revere the media that advocate working *outside* the government/bureaucracy to do the "Right Thing"—-as we acknowledge that a preponderance of rules, while usually necessary, often GET IN THE WAY.

@Morlay: I'm definitely not defending the stance—-was just summarizing what I thought the article was saying.

@MifuneT: What was that? I didn't hear you over me being right. (jk)

@MifuneT: "Those that support Assange and believe that governments are not entitled to maintaining elements of secrecy are a delusional, yet very vocal minority."

@i ♥ Tofu: But, but, but... I rely on the subjective generalizations of faceless organizations that exist on ad revenue to form my opinions about the world... If I don't know who's the sexiest/wealthiest/most important people in the world, how will I ever be able to emulate them???

@MayorBloomberg: Well, it seems like there are two things being said here, and they do get a little confused. 1) Author asserts Zuckerberg should not be PO2010. 2) Author asserts that TIME's yearly declaration is not all it once was, as we have—readily available—statistical data showing who we ("the people") have the

@Hello Mister Walrus: I would fully support Zuckerberg as Person of the Decade... But Person of 2010? No. Julian Assange? Ideally not but he'd be a better choice for Po2010 than Zuckerberg.

@geekymitch: I dub thee "The Printer Terrorist."

@MifuneT: "Sure, Steve, let me set up a temporary password/temporary access for you..."

@DARSFOG: Or established the preferential order. I think I'm going to try convincing my parents to rename their network when I go home for the holidays to avoid the ongoing disconnect/reconnect cycle for the ONLY "linksys" connection I want automated.

@dsh: Brand new TV, in TV box (not nondescript) left outside my apartment door at 4 o'clock in the afternoon despite note on apartment door instructing all packages to be left with leasing office. (I even gave directions on where the leasing office was!)

@OfficerMike: A possibly bricked laptop and probable job loss...

@NaraVara: I like the path-less-traveled option; i.e., the middle of the road. The only malus is having to dodge cars from both sides...

@Ding-Dang: Most hilarious mental picture of the day.

@sighing: But I will content myself with knowing that INSIDE the fat there is one hot bod!

@TechnicAli: The 6-, 7-, or 8-minute kind?

"Loss of the feminine hourglass shape is sad and leaves some women looking bloated under clothing, even when they have low bodyfat."

@NaraVara: Is that better or worse than the radical right who'd have you believe it's just a bunch of hot air? (ba-dum-psh)

@Obi-Haiv: Quick at the draw, eh?
