Big love for this movie, which kind of genuinely scared me some when I was young. The kills are so gross, funny and inventive, but the clown faces are truly creepy and disturbing.

Superior Foes was the best. The only Marvel book I was reading at the time.

I like Kaijumax, but it's never quite as good as I want it to be. And that's from a big Oz and Godzilla fan.

Prez is surprisingly good. Gotham Academy has gone downhill a bit since the first arc though.

Multiversity was such a mixed bag. Great stuff with Shazam and the Charlton characters, but the bookends and the Jim Lee material were a slog.

Dead on. Copperhead is very good, though best of the year is pushing it. But Transformers vs GI Joe is next level bonkers and should absolutely be on the list.

After the first issue of Providence, I thought it was going to be a boring slog with stiff art. The further it's gone, the more I appreciate what he's doing there. Very rewarding for Lovecraft fans.

"What about turning him into a half-baked Doctor Who was such a great idea?"

Jeez, saw this in the theater as a kid on my birthday, had my friends over for a sleepover and we stayed up for hours calling each other "peck" and laughing our asses off. Guessing that one doesn't hold up any better than Krull on an adult rewatch.

Flying Guillotine is fun. Master is bonkers insane brilliant.

Thought these looked familiar when I saw the headline. My daughter was in class with Nina's younger son for a couple years, and I remember being shown a few impressive ones.

Every issue drawn y Eaglesham has been great, everything else has been a real mixed bag. There's a "dead man walking" feel to the title, unfortunately.

Loved Josh and Tina and Forrest's dad dancing in the background.
Have to figure Joe Dale is coming back, otherwise that is way too much of an anti-climax for this show.

What an idiotic way to die.

Love it. Hope Earth War happens. The guidebook is nothing of the kind, more of an opportunity to screw around in the universe.

Copperhead is very enjoyable, even though it's a little odd reading that and Lawless in the Dredd Megazine. I'd agree that (aside from the stellar Prophet - hope Graham gets to do the Earth War capper) Copperhead, East of West and Manhattan Projects are the current best of the Image sci-fi wave. Reading Remender's

Just read the first two volumes as part of the Comixology sale and am undecided as to whether to continue (considering what an investment the whole series is, even at sale prices). I mildly enjoyed the first two arcs, but no more than that. Unless it gets dramatically better, don't think I'm going to bother.

I assumed they did that because of problems getting the art in on time. And issue 3, the Eaglesham issue, was a dramatic improvement on what came before both in terms of art and story. I actually do like Lashley's art, but I don't think it is a good fit for the book, and the art assists he's been getting result in

I agree that the story in Low is not very good, but have the opposite feeling about the art. Tocchini's stuff looks gorgeous and is the only reason I'm still reading that book.
