What's the best iPhone mail app for use with a Gmail account that's NOT the built-in mail app (trying to keep work and personal emails separate). I'm using the Gmail app now, but I'm not loving it.

Can someone tell me what setting I should use for my DirecTV DVR? If I check all the boxes for the different resolutions (hoping everything will display in its native resolution), I'll sometimes check and find that something that should be in 720 or 1080 is displaying in 480 (at least according to the blue light on

I disabled my Win7 screensaver last week for a presentation I had to give. I've now turned it back on, yet the screensaver never seems to come on (I even checked the "require login" button to make sure I'm not just missing it). I can't actually say for sure that it was kicking in properly just before the

Fair. I guess the point I had in my head is that it's an easy thing to avoid if you want to.

Is it mine? If so, you can have it.

That's not true at all. Sure, there are a lot of 'entry level' patent attorneys who do prosecution work. But there are a lot of senior people who do that. And there are a lot of patent attorneys who never do patent prosecution their entire careers. It depends on the firm you work for, and even your practice

Patent attorneys are in relatively high demand, but that's relative to the rest of the legal field. Legal jobs are HARD to come by right now. Figure it costs about $200k to get a law degree, with no guarantee (that's an understatement) of employment at the end. For a lot of discouraging information about employment

Aero Beds are great. My parents sleep on them and actually give them praise. They're pretty easy to inflate (they come with an attached blower), and deflate (large vent that opens easily).

I'm surprised there isn't an outraged comment in response to the statement that Firefox invented tabbed browsing. Didn't that come from Opera?

Sticking with Dropbox for now, though I'd like for one of the systems to use encryption on the client end so I don't have to worry about nosy employees or security lapses.

~45 minutes each way.

Approved. And is there an audio version of the TED Talks? I love the videos, but that's not very conducive to driving.

Approved.

Approved. And I'm a little concerned that you're looking FORWARD to a longer commute!

I just got an iPhone (I know, 21st century). I see options in contacts to give a specific contact its own ringtone or text alert, but there doesn't seem to be any way to set up a special email notification. Without jailbreaking, is there any way to do this? I really need to silence one or two email addresses.

Aaaaand the picture has the 'start' and 'finish' backwards.

For those thinking about upgrading your Android version, be careful. After I did so, the app kept crashing before I could navigate to any of my notes. Seems to be a broader problem based on comments in the Play store. Fortunately, I had a backup, so I restored.
