Whoops, somehow I missed your reply.

Even though Steam supports other games, there is no plug-in to add support for other controllers for games that specifically want a 360/XB1 controller, and there is a HUGE amount of those. (at least that’s my understanding, I use XB1 controllers).
Ah, I have no idea about controller prices in other countries (I’m in Canada where a XB1 Controller is about the price of a new game.)
Yeah, but there isn’t any overriding driver or plug-in that makes support universal across all games (that I am aware of).
Yeah, I don’t get it. I guess one could point to Microsoft’s control over Windows, but you’d think that Steam/etc would just have some sort of native controller support for all controllers.
Elite configuration app from Microsoft is currently broken (and has been since the Creator update). This renders the paddles on the back non-configurable in Windows. Microsoft has not responded at all in their support forums to the pile of people complaining.
I don’t know about the 2017 models but my 2016 LG OLED has really no ghosting issues to speak of. Once in a while if I leave my Windows 10 desktop on for while and then flip to a fullscreen black or white screen I’ll notice some fleeting imprint of my desktop icons, but they will be gone with any content that comes…

That’s was EXACTLY my first take!
Congrats GBD! I’m really looking forward to reading this with my son.
I’m not bothered about the delay. The free game is a nice plus (and not necessary), but does anyone who pre-ordered Sonic Mania not already have Sonic The Hedgehog (likely numerous times)?
Well done! Always cringeworthy to see devices dropped like that, but nice to know the replacable parts are likely the first to get wrecked in such a situation. I’m impressed to see the screen didn’t crack.
Agreed! This is a huge issue if this is common place. The best solution they could offer would be to reduce the docked resolution to the same as the undocked resolution. What I don’t understand is that the clock speeds are increased when the system is docked. I guess that boost isn’t enough for a higher resolution?
Awesome! This was a sorely overlooked gem. Such amazing detail in a game for the time, I can’t wait to get it again and see how well it holds up. I bought this game twice already, it was that good.
Don’t shop at The Brick...they’ll screw you whenever they can.
I completely agree. I have a lot of games and game related items in our house and we made it through our son’s early childhood with zero game related mishaps. (he is 10 now and puts most adults to shame with the way he treats his stuff)
Plus, not being able to write to the cards means that ALL DLC will also have to be on the NAND as well.
And you aren’t counting a Pro Controller or an SD Card...or the battery device you’ll need to tug along to charge the thing when you are on a long trip
Ok...but you still see a lot of laptops and people are still using them (that was my point). You were implying that somehow they’ve gone out of fashion and they’ve suddenly become less pleasant to use on planes. Lots of people can get by with tablets now for all their needs, that’s your growth there, but lots of…
We must go on different flights, I see laptops all the time. Again, I use mine without complaints and game with it on planes, so I’m not seeing the issues you see. To each their own I guess.
