Ah, that’s too bad I won’t see that, that sounds kinda fun. I don’t relish the idea of hunting down more ghosts to kill to upgrade the nail. That’s cool there is stuff like that in there for the fans though.

Yeah, I’m over Hollow Knight now, I doubt I’ll go back. I’m surprised to hear I missed a lot of content though. I found some of the game a little more cryptic than it needed to be, but I suppose this is necessary for people who want to immerse themselves in the game and find every single secret. Read more

Cool. After Hollow Knight I don’t think I can do another Metroidvania for a while, but I’ll definitely keep Blasphemous in mind.

OH! Ha! I didn’t even notice and was puzzled by your reply for a while. Ha! I bet I do that a lot. :)  Doh!

I finished Hollow Knight last night and the more I look at it, I think it is something to do with their hitboxes and perspective that seems “off” to me. It often feels like I have to hit the middle of the body of enemies instead of just making contact. It is weird, I can’t quite articulate what is wrong, but it was Read more

HA! I love the concept of the Ghost and Goblins series and enjoy them very briefly (until they crush my soul), but I don’t think I’ve ever finished one. Read more

I’m nearing the end of the NES commercials...this is what passed for an Alien 3 commercial near the end of the NES lifecycle in North America. (it’s a 10-sec promo during professional wrestling.)

Wow! That’s a lot of gaming! I can’t do that...I need to focus on one thing at a time. Not playing Borderlands 3 on PC?

Nice! Apex looks pretty cool from the outside. Not something I want to do perhaps, but it seems to be more interesting than many online PVP games. I’m glad to hear you are becoming proficient at it. It is nice to finally pass that noob hump and start becoming dangerous. Read more

This game never saw the light of day as The Terminator. Sunsoft lost the license during development and turn the project into Journey to Silius. There was a Terminator game eventually made for the NES which was developed by Radical Entertainment.

Oh no, the issue is likely me. I’ve been chatting with so many people about Hollow Knight that I forget who played it on what. :) Read more

I didn’t own a Master System or an NES (I was Commodore Amiga and C64 at the time), but I did own a lot of Game Gear games that were the same as the Master System versions. Plus, we had the Master System adapter for the Game Gear, so I did enjoy many of the Master System exclusives. Read more

I’ll probably go back to Civ VI once I have all the expansions for it. I only have the vanilla game and rarely is a Civ game completely until you own all the DLC. Read more

Glad to hear you are warming up to Blasphemous. That’s annoying about surfaces you can and can’t mantle. I dislike when games can’t seem to get their rules straight. Read more

Sweet!  I love my Asus laptop (way better than the Alienware one I had), they make some great hardware.  Enjoy!

I only played the first Darksiders, but I enjoyed that one a lot. I keep meaning to play the second one at some point. Did you enjoy the third one, it seems to get a lot of mixed reviews. Read more
