Oh Donnaaaaaaa! Donna Strunk!!!

I want to be happy for these people but if I’m going to be real...

I think the thing isn’t so much whether it’s possible to be instantly in love; the question is whether you’re suited to a life with the person. There are a lot of people who are desperately in love with each other and just can’t make it work, and the sorts of issues they have don’t always come out in a week, or a

I was looking for a roommate when I met Virtual Eddie, and he moved in full time like after a month.

Didn’t Joe Jonas and Sansa Stark get engaged after like a minute too? But they don’t show any sign of getting married.

Bring on the “how long should you date” debate.

No.

The numbers from NC are just crazy. I know I’m nitpicking and I’m from OH so not intimately familiar with the political landscape and nuances of NC, but I just can’t wrap my head around the 2016 results from Robeson County.

Oh my I am so glad a discussion on this came over to Jezebel. They were talking about it on i09 and there were some commenters that read the blog post and didn’t think it described an abusive relationship at all. A specific comment:

It would be nice to know if there was a database where you could look up your own vote and see if it showed you voting for the person you actually voted for...

Buckle up cuz here comes a rant:

Sometimes as part of a disaster recovery plan written down copies of passwords are stored in offsite vaults or bank lockboxes etc.

I tend to turn a blind but ireful eye at employees who write down their passwords but they also have something like 15-20 passwords for various systems and sites. Just so long as they don’t write down their domain password I’m typically okay with it.

found PDF files with the instructions, all the passwords and software files for the system that allowed poll workers to verify registered voters.

All those words that have little green lines under them in the article are known as “sources”. That’s where news comes from. ”Nu-uh” is not a legitimate counter-point.

But when Marks’ organization sued for data to see whether or not the state’s elections systems had been penetrated, Kennesaw State University, the college that houses the Center for Election Systems, wiped the servers clean.
