So glad that male commenters are here to talk about their boners, this is the Content Jezebel was made for

We’ve come to a pretty pass when we consider the process of a mother feeding her child to be titillating and/or obscene. And we’ve stayed at that pretty pass for centuries.

“This is my bathroom... in my house...surrounded by a 10 foot tall fence. There are no windows in the bathroom.”

You know you’re on the wrong side of an argument when yours basically boils down to, “You were asking for it”.

“Then get tinted windows.”

Anyone else notice the word “WRONG” on her stereo after she left the bar?

Yeah, I think we all feel the same way. Hard to de-friend your adult children though. Especially when they are otherwise lovely people. It would just be nice if, you know, he could respect some boundaries.

made appearances on TV shows like The Golden Girls

Here’s what you do: you go to Google and you enter “Brie Larson smiling” and then you can see all the images of Brie Larson smiling, at which point your question will have been answered.

Of course she does, but the real question is what the fuck is she doing out of the kitchen, amirite?

I feel ya. But what they meant by “Unlikable” was you can’t cheer for her. She’s too flawed. A character doesn’t have to be likeable to tell a story. Humans are messy and that’s exactly what Camille shows. But publishers don’t always want that, especially for women.

That’s cool! I saw a few of those but missed some. I hate to sound like one of those “In the book” people but I usually am but in this case I am halfway through the book and will finish before Wednesday when it’s due back at the library (where like 5 people have holds on it after me)...but in the book there’s always a

I think I have to watch the episode again because I missed most of this:

Are you a grown woman who still has issues past and present with a narcissist mother? If you are in any way you’ll apperciate “Sharp Objects.”

FYI: I recommend reading “Dead Girls” by Alice Bolin.

Well, where else would you find a payphone? The 3 that exist are FILTHY. Bring your own.

I hated Gone Girl, is this story better? For what it’s worth, I thought that Gone Girl was no where near as brilliant and clever as it thought it was, it was convoluted, and I hated the stupid pregnancy thing. I want to like this one, but I also wanted to like Gone Girl because I paid actual money for the book...
