I was a completely floundering young adult/recent college grad in 1997. I know there was good stuff for me that year, including pop culture, but it's mostly just a big blur of "meh" for me.

Potatoes are common on (soft)breakfast tacos but I've never even considered this. If I ate it, I think I would want some spice on the potatoes too.

Apparently the blue milk was laced with steroids! I have a few of those mixed in with my old Kenner ones. My local toy/comic shop has tons of them still in the package for very cheap and I'm always tempted to buy the ones for characters I don't have figures for any more.

I have several of those Burger King glasses for Empire and Jedi sitting on my shelf. The paint is immaculate. That seems weird because I know I drank out of them ALL the time and they were constantly in the dishwasher.
Either we had so many that these were hardly ever used, or they had some strong, lead based paint…
