Hmm, I've had "I Got a Man" on my Spotify list for years. But I didn't know anything about re-recordings or anything like that.

That Lip Sync Battle show recently some british Disney start do that song. My kids really liked it. I had to explain to them what it was, even though I think they were both born when it came out. They were singing it for awhile after. Even the falsetto parts, which impressed me.

I keep wanting to argue against Mazzy Star because the first record "She Hangs Brightly" was such a great record, but yeah nothing on it was a "hit" like that song.
