so his talk of the dark ages could be any time in his thousand year past not necessarily close to his present time

since he’s from the future his past would be our present

he just says they were discovered during the dark ages not when those dark ages took place. i don’t remember him saying anything like they took place close to his time in the future

i knew this spider lady would be a one off villain right from the promo. seeing supergirl need help defeating her is an insult

you’re remembering correctly. lena’s birth mother is irish

what shippers? practically no one is buying them as a couple

brainy says that the q waves they use in the future were discovered during the dark ages. due to kelly working with them now these might be the dark ages brainy speaks of since he is from the future

brainy never said q waves weren’t discovered until the legion’s time. brainy says they have q waves in the future and they were discovered during the dark ages. i know one review picked up on that *maybe autostraddle?* and since kelly is working on them now it might mean that our time is the dark ages brainy speaks of

it’s more likely they made some vague reference and they expect us to connect the dots ourselves so they don’t have to trouble themselves about writing yet another “reveal” scene

that sounds like they want to us to make assumptions rather than spelling it out

They brought up the fact that Kelly and Kara already knew each other but I don't remember Kelly knowing about her as Supergirl. Could you help me remember that?

i’ve never seen kara get so passionate about journalism as she did in last night’s episode. it’s like kara wins a pulitzer and suddenly the show thinks she’s lois lane

My issue with Kara is that she's always letting people get in her head about revealing her secret. On top of that she convinces herself lying to Lena will somehow protect her

I don't even think more powers will come from the absorption

Let's not forget this is the same show that thought it could take on gun control in one episode then never bring it up again

The show still had romantic drama. The difference being Kara wasn't part of it for once

Lena is not an idiot. She knew what the writers said she knew. No more and no less. Kara on the other hand is an idiot

i wouldn’t be surprised if those back and forths were exactly what we got at least for a little while

i just couldn’t believe they’d compare kara danvers to woodward and bernstein.

who betrayed alex? the memory wipe was her idea
