Well said.
Well said.
I have to disagree, I think the concept art looks way creepier than the practical zombie makeup on this. Not that it would have helped that mess of a film though...
Is it sad that I know EXACTLY which GIJOE figure they got the flamethrower from?
We're not closing the beaches!
Just saw it at a special screening last night. While I liked the film, I felt that were several missed opportunities. I do wish the film HAD addressed the issues of robot sentience a little more, at least the extent to which a robot has the right to it's own memories. Is it ethical to just wipe them like iPhones and…
Nicely done.
No Grendel? I remember Hunter Rose taking on Batman in an old crossover comic, though I don't know who won.
Great job throwing this exhaustive list together, must have taken a while! Had no idea there were so many...
I don't buy him as Case, but maybe I've just had an image locked in my head for the last 28 years and it's hard to shake. I think someone like Joseph Gordon Levitt would be a better choice.
Don't forget to factor in the marketing. That can jack up the overall price tag by 50% in some cases, depending on how much advertising they do.
Yeah, MARKET FORCES wasn't very good. Interested to see if he writes more stories with the same depth and intrigue as the Kovacs series. The first book was optioned for a film already, no idea where it's at though...

Chick-fil-A is on record for donating millions of dollars to "pro-marriage" groups (the straight only kind) as well as Exodus, which is based on the B$ science of homosexuality being a 'condition' that can be cured.
When I saw this in the theater I thought, "Superman: The Deadliest Catch Years."
I agree with you on that. While I still thought it was a solid movie (and I agree with you, Charlie Jane, that it's still 10x better than most of the dreck in the multiplex) it had it's flaws. It felt overlong to me, especially the first act which took it's time setting up the current state of affairs and getting all…
MOAR like this, please. Where's the Chatsubo bar?
Well, I didn't see the footage now did I? If you did, please share.
Live action "Evangelion"? Kinda sounds like it. Can't wait!
I think it's a tall order to create BOTH a compelling game and an interesting show at the same time. I give them kudos for trying to create a rich experience across multiple platforms like this, but there's a chance that one or both of the projects will fall flat.
