is denying that predators operate in this way helpful? is it helpful to deny that such men hide among allies in feminist/activist circles? how is it harmful to talk about the fact that men like this exist and that this is how they operate?

Good point - I didn’t mean that every victim should feel comfortable going to the police. Rather, that this band is saying, “Hey, send us your statements about how you have been the victim of a crime; we’re not 100% sure what to do with them though??
