Oh, man. I always loved that episode. I owned it on VHS.
Thanks for the feedback! I actually received a PS3 copy of Arkham Origins as a gift over the holidays, so I have no real impediments to catching up on it, other than the other games I'm playing right now (namely, Bravely Default, Lightning Returns, and the FFXIV PS4 beta).
Download files are compressed, and then they install to take up about twice the space.
Games with more impressive textures than this have taken much less space... Even when they have had more models, audio, cutscenes, etc. to include.
I think this is just the result of poor compression. They were able to slap it onto a Blu-ray with no difficulties, so they just directly translated that to PC.
What the fuck?
I think they're top-notch where gameplay is concerned. I mean, Killzone 2 is my favourite FPS of all time. 3 and Shadow Fall, while fun, aren't as good. They lightened up too much on the controls and class system.
We should also mention that their music is phenomenal.
Regarding story, though, I agree that the Killzone…
Want a hug?
Considering how poorly things tend to sell on the Wii U... I don't think you can count on that happening.
It's a vicious cycle.
I can't wait for this! D: Now I have to play Arkham Origins.
Mr. Freeze is my favourite thing in the world of comic books.
Oops, double post. Sorry.
Kotaku needs a delete button.
Have you looked into Naughty Dog's pre-Crash days? :P
I wouldn't call Guerilla mediocre, though. They're pretty top-notch, though they make FPS games for a more niche audience than, say, CoD or Battlefield.
I am glad the video re-affirms it, but this is technically old news. lulz
I can't wait to see what it is! Guerilla is a studio of very talented developers.
I have to get this, Thief (PS4), and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles today. D:
Then we have MGSV: Ground Zeroes, inFamous: Second Son, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (the PS4 beta is lovely), Octodad, Child of Light, Conception II, Demon Gaze, Drakengard 3...
Ohgawd. This is the busiest Q1/Q2 I've had in my gaming life.
*shrugs* You're free to come up with as many crazy leaps in logic as you want. I'm just interested in the data, which is both readily available and repeatable.
If the game were better on another console, I'd get it for that instead.
I'd get it on PC if it were the kind of game I like on PC, but I really prefer this…
Skyrim never runs flawlessly. xD
You're putting words in my mouth and making incredible leaps in logic. That is partially just your fault, but it is my fault for not being clearer in the first place. Maybe I shouldn't comment on my touchscreen. lol
