As I see it, the PS3/360 versions were a down-port and an afterthought.

I've got this pre-ordered for PS4. I suspect that the "next-gen" versions are more ploished, particularly in the case of the PS4.

It definitely doesn't have XIII's utterly incredible budget and visuals. Both XIII-2 and LR work with lower budgets (lower projected sales + making up for XIII's budget). However, We should also remember that these titles have much larger areas, more NPCs, and more focus on mechanics and side content.

Haha, that's arguable. The bigger finger grips, slimmer/lighter design, enhanced battery life, no-longer-proprietary charge/data cord, circular menu buttons, and LCD screen are all pluses to some people.

Actually, they are probably only releasing the black one in the US, at least for now. The UK announcement was only for the black one.

You can import the colour of your choice from Japan, but that is probably a bit more expensive.

I think stretch goals are hurting this game... They would have been better off with a higher base number and guaranteed PlayStation platform support.

Most fans aren't backing until PS4 or/and PS Vita support... But this is causing the thing to not get the backing it needs to reach those platforms.
