Without Kinect, the Xbox One should be $350 at most... $300, even, but I'm sure they want to keep their profit margins higher.

Reportedly, the Kinect costs about as much to produce as the console itself. The console is cheaper than the PS4, so that makes sense.

It's better than the old Kinect, but it's still a high-latency input method. It's not nearly as precise as a controller. In fact, it's much more high latency than the PS Move and even Wii Motion Plus.

But, like I said, it's a bit less noticeable than on the original Kinect, so there is improvement. The technology has

That depends on the game, and I suspect more devs will start adding both button schemes to accommodate the PC players buying DS4s.

It's inconsequential to me, though. It's not like the prompts confuse me. Even then, I've had some success going into game files and putting in my own.

Huh, I think it's the best looking console ever released. lol

Yeah, both this and Peggle 2 are coming "first" to Xbox.

No, the DualShock 4 works natively. c: You're right that the touchscreen doesn't do anything (that would be -awesome-), but I'm always hoping drivers, either official or unofficial, will add trackpad functions to that down the road.

You'll find that comparing the DS3 and the 360 controller doesn't tell you anything

No problem! I'm just a messenger~ c;

You can switch the internal HDD for the PS3, you know. You should consider that! They're pretty cheap.

Of course, the PS4 has the same standard. It's quite nice.

I agree that more companies should get on board with that openness.

The defective thing is a myth. About .4%, definitely well under 1%, of PS4s have problems. And of those few, they're typically shipping-related HDMI issues.

Those of us who know what we're looking at usually care. :P

You're absolutely right, but Microsoft's hardware engineers are notoriously bad, and this is no exception. Whereas, Sony's hardware engineers are pretty phenomenal, and it shows with the PS4.

Omg, I just want to reinforce you by saying that To the Moon is absolute magic.

Why would it be sad? D:

I definitely know what you mean; I'm on a PS4 high right now.

I think I may want this, and it's a confirmed timed exclusive.

Definitely get Knife and Brigmore. They're substantial story expansions.

My consoles are actually emphasised in my entertainment setup. I take pride in them.

They confirmed a while ago that YouTube is being added.

What you've seen in fact proves that you are relatively isolated, though. This is the first gen to launch in the era of social media. Amazon, Twitter, Reddit, gaming sites, etc. allow those couple thousand to all gather and feel like they're a huge group, while a million people are playing their consoles just finely.

They were true numbers. You're just confused. That was global data announced at a European gaming event.
