No Grundy this week, but it had many other great moments. I loved Thunderbolt. Got very heavy “Genie in Aladdin” vibes from him, especially when he first appears. This show continues to be fantastic, and I’m thrilled to have it.

Things are going to get pretty awkward next season as far as people from different universes are concerned...
When I saw Max sleeping with Court while snoring, I’m reminded of my late pug, who probably didn’t snore half as loud. LOL
I love that Courtney is stubborn and bull-headed, like Kara and Oliver, in a way that is frequently infuriating, and also inseparable from what makes them heroes.
I feel calling Yolanda’s murder of Brainwave cold-blooded is vastly incorrect, Cold-blooded implies premeditated with malice and without remorse. Her killing of him was in the heat of the moment, *very* emotionally driven, and she is obviously dealing with guilt/remorse.
I mean Eclipso is one of the big bads so, in a way, we already have. He strengthens and corrupts dark emotions.
I don’t even know that Astra and Behrad together will work, but Astra grew up in hell, she for sure deserves to have some dating fun
Astra and Spooner may be friends, but sooner or later, Behrad is gonna get VERY friendly with Astra lol
How long before we meet someone like Darth Sidious who can prey on Rick’s frustrations, Beth’s helplessness and Yolanda’s guilt struggle? All they need is a sympathetic ear, and a subtle but effective push towards the dark side. I mean, it looks like Yolanda’s being haunted by something that’s forcing her to relive…
Spooner and Astra’s relationship evolving this season from hating each other to BFFs has been great and a very Legends appropriate storyline.
If you watched anime in your youth, it’s probably from DBZ (Ocean Mr. Popo) or Transformers Armada/Energon (Demolishor).
This episode makes me want to get back to bowling as soon as COVID is over!
I mean, heck, in the comics there’s a reason Superman outright gives a lump of Kryptonite to Batman.
I vote for Jonathan, Jordan, Sarah, or even Sophie, getting a fairy godmother. Then we can have Nora, Ray and some craziness.
When Superman shouted out to Jordon from the Badlands, I instantly thought of when a weak and wounded Luke Skywalker reached out to Leia in The Empire Strikes Back. Just goes to show that family bonding runs deep, Force-sensitive, super-powered or otherwise.
They’re even both named Bart
I enjoyed this one. I think we already knew that Cisco was back for the finale, and I’m really hoping Thawne comes back next week, for basically Cavanaugh’s grand farewell.
Godspeed isn’t Bart’s Thawne. He is, in fact, Bart’s Zoloman. How do I know? Barry never got to see Thawne murder Nora as a kid, but he was forced to stand helpless and watch as Zoom kill Henry (the doppelganger of Jay Garrick):
Any Flash episode that brings back the mind-meld helmets and the MFing Jumper Cables (!!) automatically goes up one letter grade in my book.
