If the Joker were in this episode, he would’ve clapped excitedly for Lex. What a way to unveil such raw underhandedness and madness!

This would be Statler and Waldorf’s verdict of the episode:

I pretty much cackled like Darth Sidious whenever I saw Kara not getting what she wanted out of this episode. This quote comes to mind:

To be honest, I actually thought the Iris that came out was actually Eva in disguise. I mean, it worked with Ursula.

Luthor, you fiend! You magnificent fiend! You’ve finally done it! You’ve cheated your way into the spotlight! Jolly good show! XD

Who’d have thought that Mick Rory would be so good with babies? XD

Those shadow things remind me a lot of Dementors.

I never thought Barry had it in him. If we were to use a quote of Zira’s from The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, it would be: “You brilliant child—I’m so proud of you! You have the same conniving mind that made [Eobard Thawne] so... powerful.”

Something tells me that Lena will return to the idea of unmasking Supergirl to the world. If she wants her so-called bestie outta the way, she must ruin her. Make sure there won’t be a paper who will hire Kara Danvers.

It takes a really sick villain to make a hero lose hope. I just wish they can provide won for Supergirl; she’s been “holding on”, as Kylo Ren puts it, for far too long.

Well, it looks like Future Team Arrow have a chance to explore Lian Yu: the place where it all happened. Next episode should be a mind-numbing experience. Just hope William won’t have too much reliving his mom’s death there.

Must have felt good to see Barry hand-phase through the apparition of his own mom. Once he did that, flashbacks of what happened to Nora came right back at him. Ooh, somehow I knew this was gonna turn him all Sith.

I had a feeling that Nash Wells would tell Allegra who the Flash is. The only question is: What’s to stop Allegra from blogging this secret, along with info about the multiverse and doppelgangers, behind her boss’s back? It’s the scoop of a lifetime, baby!

Of course, Lena’s not gonna kill Supergirl. As far as she’s concerned, there are far worse things than death. Like Darth Maul, she wants to make Kara “share” her pain... only without killing any loved ones.

So Jacob has been a hostage all this time throughout the episode, and Mouse played Sophie like a fiddle. Which means Jacob still doesn’t know that what her daughter’s up to. Makes me wonder if Alice will be the one to do the reprise of “Prince Ali” for her dad. A brilliant way to twist the knife, wouldn’t you say?

The Executioner reminds me a lot of this guy, but in a more sympathetic fashion:
