Apart from the aiming down the sights, this actually reminds me more of Counter-Strike: Source than Call of Duty.

I've never played Farmville, but I don't really get all the hate for it anyway. Isn't it just an RTS that has been stripped of the 'winning' or 'losing' aspects?

I was a huge fan of the Halo 3 diorama commercial, and this is seriously awesome.

@Uncle Jesse: I had to break myself of the bad habit of reflexively pressing 'A' when I'm telling my wife to do the same thing if she's falling down a pit or something. Nothing worse than being right at the end and then both of us going into a bubble..

@I'm leaving a: If you're playing a game on an emulator, chances are it's because it's not available anymore, or very hard to find.

My wife and I have spiraled into New Super Mario Brothers addiction. Monday night we played for about three hours, and yesterday we played for four.

@Xylias: Even worse lately are the WP7 trolls.

Sometimes I wish I could mix Gizmodo and Engadget. Engadget is so much more professional and on top of things, and yet the commenting community there is horrifyingly stupid.

@Wade McGillis: I still love what one of the guys on Penny Arcade said about the Virtual Boy (one of their employees, can't remember his name). He used to work for Nintendo and he said he thought it would've done better if they used his slogan:

@Archaotic: It's not PR speak. It's true that you don't have to wear glasses, and that's a pretty big deal when it comes to practicality.

@rymas1: It's all about what you're used to, but I agree that they should have a consistent layout.
