What species of whale is that in the top photo?

Is it possible that the 'baracks' was taken from an older book, before English spelling was standardized, and that it is simply a variation on 'barracks?'

Yeah, that was definitely not that great. At all.

I get it that the iPad is a cool thing, but I'm getting tired of it being used for something completely ordinary and pedestrian, and then people saying, "Whoa! Look at what this iPad can do!"

@Esther Inglis-Arkell: Wouldn't it make more sense to say that the similarities exist because they are both variations on the Hero's Journey?

The word deaths doesn't need an apostrophe, it's just a normal plural.

@JChaos: Personally, I disagree. This version feels easier to 'skim' without having to read the whole thing in order, since each section can be read on its own without the need to read everything before it.

@Zonky: For clarification, I'm talking about Google Maps/Navigation, which has the voice and turn-by-turn directions and all that.

Why would I ever, ever pay for a navigation program when Google Maps kicks ass and is totally free?

Is anyone else frustrated that they added 4 more players to Multi-Team in Halo: Reach? 8 players on 4 teams could get crazy enough as it was in Halo 3, but 12 players on 6 teams is just insane sometimes.
