I remember one event at a go kart track, they allow cars to go on it after hours and do drifting and time attack. I believe this dude had a first gen CTSV and he was whipping that like it was no tmrw. Dude was actually faster than the majority of Miatas at the end of the night, I couldn’t believe it.

Eh, cops can get you for exhibition of speed in any car if they’re hearing it redline so might as well do it in a fast car. 400hp is still slow enough to not go past the speed limit too quickly, but fast enough to do virtually anything racing wise. It’s all about the gearing, if you have a shorter gear’d transmission

How are the new ones at tuning? My Evo X doesn’t have full bolt ons and a stock turbo on E-85 and made 411Whp. I saw a hawkeye fully built that produced less than that with the same tuner who started with Cobb so he knows how to tune them.

Which is a good thing for me. I think the Evos in general will command a higher resale value in 10 years. The Blob and Hawkeye STI’s will as well

Of course it wouldn’t be all at once, there’s levels to this. Phase out based on dealer performance and how much they upcharge. You can keep some dealers if it makes sense to... at the very least special vehicles like this should be direct from manufacturer.

But it’s not end all be all. I’ve seen heavy 4 door V8s keep up on an autocross with Miatas. You can still have alot of fun with a heavier car and high Horsepower. It’s more so the engagement for me.

At this point, if you’re not already competitive with the German Big 4, moving even more upwards is just stupid. That space is already oversaturated, I don’t see how long they can last with that thinking, but maybe it’ll work who knows.

It’s these executives and CEOs, and their constant need of sucking off to the investors and Board Members. They don’t see the potential gold mine because they are too busy looking at the gold dust in the river to turn a quick buck. It happens everywhere and all at once, I think they’re all in collusion with each

Man that just looks so...wrong. I wished they’d stop trying to make this a 1 off $300K hyper car and just sell the Dam thing normally with drift mode:

The WRX STI’s 2.4-liter engine makes 296 hp and 277 pound-feet of torque.”

And then wonder why they didn’t sell. I would be so pissed if I was an automaker. I would be throwing Billions at legislatures to get rid of them.

A thousand dollar part that can save a $5K bumper up to 30mph? I’d say that’s worth it.

I know there’s going to be 1 dealer marking these up to $300K

LA auto show used to be popping, the underground section had all the supercars, and every automaker was in it. We used to spend all day on thanksgiving day over there. Now it’s just EVs and low riders, which is alright, but the EVs are just crossovers, I can only take so many Lowriders, they moved the drive

Well I hope the dude got some nice shots, and I hope he will get some nice sides on his mug shot as well, because the “For the Views” social media doofus’s have been the bane of existence for quite some time.

Save up a little more and buy this bad boy

They were mostly ugly lol, but I think something like that can be integrated and absorb more of the impact say up to 30mph? I feel like that could be possible.

I did like this Bugatti looking thing alot as well:

I only ever really had to do oil changes and transmission flushes for my cars. the only other thing extra which I’m sure EVs will also have, but perhaps more expensively are drivetrain components, wheel bearings, suspension, tie end rods, axle boots...I am curious about that. Those items can get very pricey on ICE,

They really need to put an Evo drivetrain in the Hatchback model.
