And that absolutely needs to change, but it won’t because it’s a club. And not to wish this upon anybody, but I am suprised more CEOs haven’t been Murked in recent years due to their selfish decisions.

It was all predatory from the start. I can’t fault automakers completely for not buying enough chips because they thought Covid was going to be much worse than it was financially (Mistake #1).
“Sure, you’ll make your quarterly bonuses, but you’re screwing yourselves in the long term.”
explain F1 and WRC drivers =)
““since the insurance paid for it I won’t comment on how it was driven, just that a very large pothole in our washed-out road caused all the dominoes to fall,””
“If you don’t want to fork over that sort of money, you can still get the person you hate a $450 bottle of Tesla Mezcal, a $110 Tesla Glow Lantern, various Tesla drink holders and even $65 Tesla Salt + Pepper Shakers. Is this a car company or an isle at Home Goods? Nobody knows anymore.”
which makes sense on paper, but in a modern car with modern brakes, you should be able to react just as effectively at 30mph if you’re paying attention. It’s one of those, “it can’t be the answer because it’s too obvious” type of things, but maybe that is the answer.
I’m starting to find it funny how dollar values translate. Like This bike, and a 2025 Volvo XC90 costs about the same price. How there are cars out there worth more than my condo, and some worth more than many mansions combined, it’s an odd thing if you think about it. But seeing as this is the Lamborghini of…
“Just this weekend we had 4 chairs a Lab and a Goat in the back.”
“Transport for London lowered its speed limit to 20 mph from 30 mph in the center of the British capital in March 2020. The agency found that the slower speeds reduced crashes involving pedestrians by 63 percent.”
“Ultimately, SUVs and especially minivans (which have large windows) are the ones we can both get comfortable with.”
Happy to join the fight, Spartan!
It’s the whole stock market and ass kissing to Board members and stakholders that criples actual development and engineering. The American automakers even had full EVs in the 90s (and much earlier in the Military), But “For the Love of Money”.
I think you’re right, especially when you accelerate full from a stop, lift off the gas and the regen takes over. There’s never really a break in the forces it’s generating for your brain to keep up. I’m sure it’ll be fine the more I drive them.
I know, that’s why I need to get my money up! and That’s not even the Rarest Evo model. Apparantly Mitsubishi made a ton of one off versions over the generations everywhere but the States lol, There was even a Carbon fiber edition X in south America. I can see the Pajero Evo selling consistently at 50K or so as well.
Another unrealistic beauty standard for men =)
“Daily it’s a safety issue. As he explained, it’s a distraction that “increases reaction time and decreases the amount of time you have to actually react to something.””
I haven’t driven the super fast EVs yet, they may be coming from the Manufacturer I test drive for in the future, but I have driven different EVs. The potential for the corners especially is there, you can brake later, turn in, and accelerate sooner, there is nothing quite like it except for the hardest of track cars. …
