I thought the “they don’t work” thing regarding stones in Loki was specifically that they don’t work in TVA headquarters.

Or they simply fall under the “magic doesn’t work in the TVA” rule. They never showed us what would happen if someone snatched a stone and tried to use it in another timeline or whatever.

Came here to theorize on the same thing.

The paperweight Infinity Stones are from timelines that don’t exist anymore, so maybe that’s why they don’t work. Ultron isn’t destroying timelines or universes, he’s just fumigating them.

...wow.  Dude, are you okay?

The public should not have to be guinea pigs for this Level 2 driver assist pile of turd vaporware. NHTSA please do your job and recall AP/FSD now. It is literally killing people. There is a reason why Tesla cannot market AP/FSD in Germany, because it is downright false marketing. These beta testers are cultist stock

Thing is I don’t consent to being an unwitting test subject for their beta test, but of course that doesn’t matter

So now you’re mad that Kotaku is covering New World?

I’m pretty impressed Shatner got a ghost to write his books for him. How did it hold a pen?

That’s a terrible accusation about the typical AVClub user!

Faustian bargains are part of the job description for any politician. This is performative BS because she knows she has crucified other politicians on the altar of purity tests. Purity tests that she realizes she cannot hold on to, if she intends to survive. Signal your shift in perspective and keep it moving.

16 months old. I don’t know much about babies, but my 13 month old only sayshi” and “uh-oh”. He better get his shit together if he’s gonna keep up with... What’s his face... X æ blah blah blah.

The writing on Jezebel has always gone for the snark, but things have really been missing the mark lately, and not by narrow margins.

Someone said it well last week: “Jezebel isn’t even trying anymore.”

Oh, I get it: *he’s* terrible, so therefore we call *her* a prostitute. Makes sense.

Then you don’t remember it very well….

I agree with your assessment of how this was written. Clearly meant to be “edgy”, but only succeeding at making the author look insensitive and biased at best. I don’t care for Elon Musk and while I do think he and his soon to be ex-bride aren’t undeserving of crits, this didn’t land well. Not at all.

Seems that final line is calling Grimes a prostitute, and not in a “sex work is work” kind of way. I’m trying to think in what way that sentiment would be out of place on an MRA forum, and am coming up empty.
