I agree with this assessment, but I think I like Picard and Discovery a bit more than you. I think it’s a bit rough to start, but it’s morphed into a really solid science fiction show. I teared up a little when Isaac chose the crew over his own people.

He willingly attends and donates money to a church that hates non-cis-gendered, non-hetero humans.

Going to church doesn’t mean that. A celebrity with a huge platform that goes to Hillsong, a church specifically known for homophobia and abuse, is not just “going to church.”

No, it’s not “fucked.”

oh noes she failed an impossible purity test, we’d better eat her

They cut off the whole screen grab, so you can’t see that Kermit is eating bacon.

I think the scene where Piggy looks in the mirror and asks “Would you fuck me? I’d fuck me” is even more disturbing.

It looks like Miss Piggy killed Kermit and is now wearing his flesh. That’s not kid friendly.

The “if [x] was changed, would James Bond still be James Bond?” argument is weaker here than with most franchises.  It’s not like movie Bond has borne even a passing resemblance to Flemming’s almost aged-out, bennie-popping, air conditioning hating, bourbon swilling, WWII vet racist weirdo for a long time.

This is kind of a dumb argument, though. Imagine, if you will, a world where there are centuries of history oppression centering around men named Daniel. And then if Mr. Craig was being considered as the first Daniel to be cast to play James Bond, I could argue, “But why does he need to step into this role, which has

I mean the light blue and gold look nice but they are not exactly USA colors?

I think it’s awfully arrogant to think that dehumanizing human beings because they don’t live their lives the way you’ve decided they should is just a “differing opinion”.

No one’s outraged that he wanted to use red, white, and blue.

Tough guy here!

So odd that Dan Quayle is out saving American democracy in 2021

Bob Woodward records history.

Plus he played three different roles on “Boy Meets World” over its run and and in “Girl Meets World.” I always liked to think that must have been because he was great to work with.

If you think back through the various guest stars on SG-1, there really were very few who completely dominated their episodes. That’s exactly what he did in 200.

Aw, no mention of his role on “Stargate SG-1" as the alien who stayed on Earth and helped produce the show-within-a-show “Wormhole X-Treme”? I know he had an illustrious career as a character actor, but that’s neck and neck with his role on “Sex in the City” for me.

Maybe if you get Jimmy Pesto to do it...
