I didn’t mind him going and suing the gang after the wedding, as it led to some dramatic storylines and a nice grace note for Donny at the end. I agree with you, but we can’t lose her Senate seat to the sitting Republican governor. I’m hoping it’ll be Kamala Harris or Cory Booker. He needs a younger VP. 

Given Bernie and Joe’s age/health/stress of the Presidency...I’m not sure that her angling for VP isn’t an incredibly inspired way to become President anyway.

I think we all need to come to terms with the idea that relying on the youth vote isn’t a winning strategy. Statistics show over decades that the under-30 crowd are the least reliable voting bloc there is. Last night showed Bernie’s legendary ability to GOTV wasn’t near what people think it is.
