Let’s keep some perspective here - these are the claims of former Konami employees amidst a time when Konomi is already under heavy criticism. Do we have any way to verify these claims are true, and if we can verify that some or all of these are going on, do we have context as to why?
If you told me Konami’s bigwigs were protected by a microwave hallway, I would totally believe it.
Yeah, same. MGS6 will be made by somebody who isn’t Kojima, so I won’t feel compelled to play it because it won’t be a “part of the puzzle”. I doubt Kojima’s going to leave any loose ends that’ll need a sequel. MGS4 is still a fairly final chapter (I don’t really care about MGR:Revengeance).
Could Kojima choose to Resign Konami rather than Demoted to Lowly Pachinko Worker because his difference with the Board Director?
I too started to regret it. But I need to see the final MGS game by Hideo Kojima. To be fair, if I had he patience for this stuff, I’d buy it pre-owned.
I feel ya. Every part of me feels dirty knowing that I’m going to buy the new MGS. But last time I swear.
A surveillance camera?
So..are you telling me that Konami are really the Sons of the Patriots?
Well I still can't believe I'm about to give them money for MGSV. I'll just tell myself I'm helping the poor souls working there.
Oh Konami...
What happened to the Fuck Konami tag? I thought we were making that a thing? That should be a thing.
I FREAKING CALLED IT
I saw the demo, i had the same presentation Julian had. It’s the same. The trailer you are seeing simply has cuts inbetween the scenes. It’s not brightened up, slowed down or changed. It has cuts because it’s a trailer.
That’s not what a “bullshot” is.
So...sounds like a Remedy game? What groundbreaking reality altering game were you expecting? This all sounds like a solid interesting Remedy game like Max Payne was and Alan Wake after it. It sounds like you are nitpicking for the sake of bashing a game you wanted to like more, but aren’t and you even haven’t played…
Every Kotaku UK article I have read thus far:
so what you’re saying is you hate Metal Gear Solid?
“Remedy games have always had hammy writing”
Social experiment?
I’m so confused! Everything you said sounded excellent! But then you end every sentence with “it’s boring”.
