He only changed districts in Texas. Gerrymandering is primarily done by state legislatures as far as I know, not Tom Delay. Although I’m sure that congresspeople probably look over the shoulder of their fellow party members in the state house when it happens.

Yes. Economic gains are relative. If everyone else is seeing gains you’re not, by definition you’re falling behind everyone else, correct?

But they could not gerrymander at all until they had control of the state, right? This argument fails because all you’re arguing is that, at best, gerrymandering made states that were already red MORE red. Correct?

You don’t have an “argument”. You have an “excuse” for why the GOP has taken over so many state legislatures. You’re “excuse” is something you fervently believe in but I’m sure you believe in whatever makes you feel most comfortable as opposed to what’s true.

No. It’s the I’m rubber but you’re worse than rubber thing.

It’s entirely circular.

You don’t get it. You read somewhere that the only reason the Democrats are losing state legislatures left and right is because . . . gerrymandering!

No, I’m not. See how easy it is to make a generalized statement that proves nothing! Thanks! I learned this useless rhetorical trick from you.

Circular reasoning. They could not gerrymander until they won control of the state legislature in the first place.

Please. Liberals rioted (or at least protested for days) after Trump’s election. Liberals are in a tizzy over everything he does 24/7. Ironically, he really hasn’t done much of substance to complain about yet Liberals are “triggered” by his mere presence.

Some of the comments are straightforward - people hate her simply because she’s Donald Trump’s daughter. It’s exactly like the far-right nuts that ripped on Chelsea because her parents were Clintons. The article bags on her for allegedly being “complicit” with Trump when there is absolutely no evidence of that at

With regard to cutting taxes on the rich to reduce support for the poor, I think that’s generally a GOP and Libertarian view. I think you mean de facto Republican there, right?

You can look at virtually any economic indicator since Reagan and blacks have either lost ground or else have not seen the same gains made by whites, Asians, or Hispanics.

I’d agree that there are less, but they’re definitely still out there. For some reason, Democrats just don’t seem to want to try and reach them.

Your opinion has been noted and will be given the appropriate degree of attention.

Wow, nice peer reviewed blog.

True! I used to go to RedState and fight with conservatives and Daily Kos to argue with Liberals.

You wouldn’t take it away. The popular vote in CA doesn’t matter beyond the pointless argument that Hillary won the popular vote. If the popular vote is what determined the outcome, then it would matter. It doesn’t, so who cares?

In that case, I’d say your entirely point is generally overbroad and meaningless.

Because he had to fight and claw to get the ACA passed. Single-payer had ZERO prayer of passing.
