No; DirecTV blacks out games. IIRC, it’s not just the home team, either. If CBS has the Chiefs that game gets blocked out where I live and so does whatever game FOX is televising. It’s not a big deal though because you just change the channel to the regular station so you still get everything.

In Peter King’s MMQB column today, he says that an unidentified AFC owner was against the move because he could not understand why a team would move from the 7th largest market (especially when SF bungled their move) to Vegas, which is like the 45th or something.

There is no economic reason why you can’t have a compensation floor for people as well as an economic incentive to innovate and move up in society. Look at some of the Scandanavian countries. Their “social safety net” is much more like a floor than a net.

Exactly. The whole point of government run services is that you need them because private business - generally - cannot make a profit of the service provided. Like FEMA, military, etc.
