200 F for 30-45 minutes? I do 200 F for four hours and get perfect bacon and pure lard collected in the pan. I’ll have to take a look at where it is in 45 minutes.

What temperature are you doing the bacon at? When I do it at 200 F for four hours, I never have it stick, but I have seen it stick at higher temps and shorter times.

That’s how I make wings at home - a little bit of olive oil with spices mixed in, brushed onto the wings, then air fried. Sauce goes on after.

Completely agreed. Wings from pizza places are always a soggy mess. Even wings from a wing place tend to become that by the time you get them home, although they can sometimes be good.

Didn’t realize it had been a year, but I had one of the sandwiches yesterday. Still pretty dang good for a chicken sandwich.

The delivery apps charge a fee to the customer, a fee to the restaurant, and then the customer tips the driver. At least they have been forced out of taking the amount of tip off of what they pay the driver, as far as I know.

Now playing

I was tempted to make the same comment, although they did establish that Buddy Rich could outlast Animal:

That was great! Never heard of these two before, but I think I’ll have to look at some more of their stuff. I’m glad they got the same mondegreen as me and thought he was saying “hold on” instead of “oh, Lord”.

Does it taste like bacon? Then absolutely. Does it taste good, even if not like bacon? Then sure, I’d eat it, but wouldn’t stop eating regular bacon.

This is exactly what I thought he meant. I was specifically thinking of Somalis for the notable exceptions, but that’s likely because there is a decent sized Somali community here in Utah.

I think, based on the rest of the questions, what he meant was that Black people in America have a common culture that reflects living in America. Meanwhile, Latino people living in America could have grown up in America, or they could have come from Mexico, Cuba, Honduras, Venezuela, and so on, which means that they

Except they really don’t own the US economy. They are every bit as tied into the US as we are tied to them. If you’re talking about the US debt, most of that is owed to Americans, and the Social Security fund is by far the largest holder of debt. The largest foreign holder of US debt, as of last May, was Japan, not

Couldn’t disagree more. Every Impossible/Beyond I’ve tried has had a distinct aftertaste. I’ve done double blind trials with other people, because I really wanted to like them, but everyone could pick out which was which.

If you have an air fryer (or a convection oven) you can get the crispy potatoes without adding a bunch of flour. I have no idea what impact it has on the taste, as I’ve never tried it that way.

I think that they wanted to paint a mural for the cops in a different place (really, they just wanted the BLM mural gone) not literally painting over it. That doesn’t make it any better, because they absolutely are just bringing it up to get rid of the BLM mural.

I think Anthony Bourdain is probably Epstein’s closest doppleganger. There were many times I thought it was going to be a story about Bourdain, only to see it was Epstein.

Great article, but I’m left with one burning question - what, exactly, does a beer battered deep fried Oreo taste like?

Too early in the day, man. I can’t fall asleep yet! Wait a few hours.

Ah, that was nice. Nothing like some soft whining to help put one to sleep. Please post a few more today - I have a big day tomorrow and could use the rest.
