The New Conglomerate was known for being overpowered, at least since the third update or so...(i.e. the Jackhammer, the Scattercannon, and the Vanguard). After that, the Vanu Sovereignty was awful, like @ColdFury said, but then they evened it all out with a patch.

It turned into a UT2k4 clone with standing areas in between games and with Onslaught mode the only way to level up.

I believe it will function similar to Battlefield — at least that's what they comapred it to. You will earn points towards both the class and general points.

It's tied to your level. You have to actually play to progress on the whole, but a skill you choose progresses (slowly) when you're offline.

I think that's going to be an ability. The "In many instances" suggests that it's not guaranteed.

Which is also why many of the guns face the wrong way when displayed right-handed!
