I mean, it’s totally possible. Depending on the guy’s wave and how the LA Marathon does corrals, there might’ve been bottlenecking for at least the first 5k (I know this is definitely the case for many NYRR races including the NYC Marathon). And if this guy is the elite runner he claims to be, he was probably training

ugh, i keep seeing this defense. Even if it was foreshadowed, it doesn’t mean it was developed or earned. Dany’s heel turn could totally worked, but should have taken several episodes (or maybe even a season!) of development and character groundwork to set up the fact that not everything is right. Sure, she has a

ugh that’s such a pain in the ass though. I’m in that situation, and I invariably forget to cancel and end up paying for services i’m not currently using for months. (Like I just now remembered that I’m paying for CBS All Access)

He does all this by pushing his workforce (sometimes literally) to death.

I don’t think you should worry that much. I’m not a hardcore DS or BB player, but I’ve beat them all. I think this game probably feels harder to some of them because if you play it like a lot of people play Soulsbornes, you’re going to die a lot.

If you play it like a stealth game (which it is) with really good souls

I think the wear concerns are pretty much just cosmetic (the later few editions of Nike’s discontinued Lunar line had the same issues). The pattern on the bottom wears down a lil, but the actual midsole and rubber seem like they’re good for your standard 300+ mile lifecycle.

unrelated... but whoa boy that DS prototype is fugly.

You know like 90 percent of the Civil War monuments, street signs and schools were all erected or named during the Civil Rights movement as a repudiation of equal protection and an expression of white supremacy, right? None of them are actually educational or contextually important.

If it makes you feel better — in most outlets editorial people have some firewall from business decisions that don’t affect their immediate department/vertical. Spencer used to be the editor of SBNation.com, which from what I gather is run more conventionally (read, paid) from the team sites, aside from the occasional

Sheriffs in most places are elected... so firing is gonna be up to the voters, unfortunately.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t phone it in.

For the same reason white people go by Bill instead of William or Ginny instead of Virginia.

The Spider-Man that we’re talking about now is the first in a new series by Insomniac games and is in no way related to the Activision games that were put out in the last 15 years or so.

OK, so let’s blame some 17-year-olds who were most certainly sold a bill of goods by the coaching staff for finding themselves being abused by a bunch of sadists posing as coaches. I’m pretty sure nobody told them “hey buddy if you need to gain weight we’ll help you by force feeding you until you puke” or “get ready
