trying to keep my kid on the side of non violence about politics is very hard for me right now. she’s 8 and wants to punch trump in the face. Now she always adds “with words” after she says something violent. Her own little trumpian loophole...”i’m technically allowed to say that”!

its all legal, its just shit that no other president would do because they actually want the job of president and have some sort of moral compass. Even George W Bush.

They used to have to get time with a bishop, now they can just show up at their local church, and its forgiven the same way as “using the lord’s name in vain” or any of those other sins. Getting time with a bishop is a crazy arduous task, heading down the block to church isn’t.

Great idea, it occurred to me the other day that i want to transfer to a credit union or at least a community bank in my area. This is another great reason to do it!

I’ve heard that calling representatives that don’t represent you isn’t very effective. They will listen to those that they represent, but they are sort of obligated not to listen to those that they don’t represent.
