He’s right: the Civil War was unnecessary. The South didn’t need to use slave labor and could have abolished it. The South didn’t need to form and army or an ad hoc government. They didn’t need to make a terribly backed currency or try and be an independent country.

Looking forward to the legal addendum to this law which stipulates that a man is now legally obligated to cover all costs for the first 18 years of life. Once that sperm leaves your body bros, it is acting on your behalf as your brand ambassador. If you don’t want that responsibility you should have made sure to keep

She didn’t sign up to be first lady. I’d rather have her as acting first lady than one of his daughters.

I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t really expect anything less from someone whose Instagram name is derived from a failed Disney channel spin-off.

One would think.

During the Whole Women’s Health case, RBG asked what women who lived in El Paso should do, since they lived about 8 hours away from the nearest clinic. When the response was that they could go to New Mexico, she said that their argument is that the abortions in Texas aren’t safe enough, and if New

Yep. It’s semantics, sorta like a code for us lefties who know that “rarer” means “give folks real education and real birth control”.

The only way in which you can have a rarity of safe and legal abortions is with comprehensive healthcare. There is no other way. Draconian measures don’t get rid of abortions they just kill women.

Truthfully, because I’m in the camp where I feel that life is sacred

Because that’s the important takeaway from the article. Fuck right off and don’t come back until you get your priorities straight.

And she got crucified in the media for it. I remember. The Right crucified her for “safe” and “legal” and the left crucified her for “rare.” Because whatever Hillary has said, or says, or ever will say, is WRONG WRONG WRONG. Also, emails.

I agree with the use of ‘rare’ on a purely semantic level, because there are so many other methods of preventing pregnancy that ideally unwanted pregnancies become an anomaly. Without the support for sexual education and birth control access to back that up though, wishing for abortion to be rare is a kind of clueless

I wouldn’t mind it being rare, because I don’t think anyone WANTS to need an abortion, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with needing or having one, so the implications in this don’t thrill me.

I don’t think most people who are against abortion are really about dropping the abortion rate. They are about controlling, judging, and punishing people to make themselves feel better. This is a case where a carrot (in the form of education, health care and birth control access) has proven as or more effective than

I wrote a paper in AP English in higb school about how all the women in our reading syllabus were punished for their sexuality. My teacher was not amused.

That was Hillary, not Bill. But I fully agree. Safe, legal, rare.

the simple fact is, you can’t TRUST parents to teach their children anything.

That’s because women are evil harlots that only want men to fail, like that whore Eve, who disturbingly wanted knowledge.

The fact that the people who fight against abortion rights also tend to fight against access to contraception and comprehensive sex ed is a pretty good indication that the hysterical claims about “baby murder” are just rhetoric and their true motives are much more complicated. Because there are clear and obvious ways

Uggggh I hate that mindset! Why do I get rewarded for sex but women get punished! People SHOULD be having sex! Sex is fucking awesome and if more people had sex more people would be happy. And then we wouldn’t have people voting for Pence & Trump because they’re angry!

We all know it’s really about punishing women for having sex, though, right?
