Hopefully, because this trial was covered more than most trials are, people will kick up a fuss if a college or company accepts him.

Also, it helps if you think of women as PEOPLE rather than potential dates. That might help with the brain paralysis. Just speak to them like you would any other person in the room. And then, if the two of you hit things off, asking her out will be a whole lot more natural.

Congratulations. You manage to be a decent human because you’re too shy to harass women. Not because you think it's wrong to harass women. Not because you recognize that women have every right to say no. Not because you believe that men shouldn't go around assaulting women. No, you're just shy and don't like guns.

If I recall correctly, the issue was that he was too far from home to possibly get back before his curfew when he did that interview. They didn't find out about his other violations until after that.

He hasn't had access to women in two months. Obviously that's the big problem.

I really, really hope so. Maybe they'll realize that they should keep him in jail if he messes up another time.

Maybe they were so sick of his whining that they wanted to stick him back with his parents.

Pretty sure making someone wear orange crocs is a human rights violation or something.

Do they know who it was?

Hey, you never know. Maybe she would have eventually dated a "nice guy" like him.

The only good thing about this article is that I'm not getting outraged about any of the other articles I've read today, because nothing tops this.

Start keeping a record of the creepy things he does, in case things escalate. He might not be crossing the line of what your company sees as harassment yet, but if he ever does, you'll have proof that it isn't a one-off event.

Seriously, how do these guys think saying these things are going to somehow change the situation? If they’re trying to change a woman’s mind, going on a tirade about what a terrible person she is may not be the best tactic. I’m so glad I’m a lesbian.

It was really brave, though, reasonable or not.

If only she’d stopped at “It makes me want to cry because it shouldn’t have happened.” Because sexual harassment and gun violence shouldn't happen, regardless of location and proximity of children.

You are awesome.

Obviously. But then I would at least understand why these jerks are so worked up about having a kid out at night.

Here's your critical mistake: moms have to sacrifice EVERYTHING for their children. How dare you do anything for yourself? /s

The big difference is that a child is involved. This guy shot an innocent, uninvolved toddler. The toddler isn't the one who rejected him. She isn't part of the society that is conspiring against him (or whatever it is they think). What excuse could they possibly use?

I don't know how the hell they can possibly justify this. I'm sure they'll try, but it blows my mind.
