You can also check out Exceed by the same people who made BattleCON. Way of the Fighter seems to have too much stuff going on, mechanically, for its own good.

This niche is starting to get kind of crowded. We already have Battlecon, Exceed and Yomi. Not to say that this one couldn’t have its place or even be better than one of the others, but I just wonder how many games we need to cover such a small demographic.

There’s a bunch of games in this field already, including the excellent BattleCon and Exceed from LvL99. From the looks of this, it’s like a weird monster combination of the UFS Collectable card game with a board and a LOT more randomness.

So... is it a good thing or a bad thing that I have most of these (including Optimal Optimus and G1 Prime)?

The game is called Star Trek : Attack Wing. Not only is it officially licensed to the game system (Flight Path by Fantasy Flight) it's actually the better game in every conceivable way. And I am a hard core Star Trek hating Star Wars fanboy. The game is just that much better.
